Wild Horse Ranch

Gymnastic Horsemanship

The Wild Horse Ranch is looking for individuals who are willing to come and train to learn to do gymnastic work with horses in the following areas – motion picture work, television work, public relations, parades, charity work and senior citizens homes.

Applicants must have a reasonable level of gymnastic ability, minimum of 18 years of age and up, non-smokers and no substance abuse problems. Applicants must be prepared to live and work in a semi-rural setting; a big-time natural environment and pristine wilderness area. We are offering this opportunity to individuals who are interested in making this their life-long dream. Of course, you can certainly come and try for a 3 – 6 month period of time, to see if this is something that will help you fulfill your dreams. The horses we work with are incredibly agile, athletic, intelligent and have almost a catlike sense of balance.

On site, we provide accommodations, meals, clothing, and all other day-to-day needs. You must consider our program during the initial training stage as an educational facility to learn how to work with, handle, and become a team player with the horses. You will be expected also to help out with the day-to-day tasks on the ranch during the training period. When you are capable of performing motion picture, commercial, television work, etc. and we receive financial remuneration for these performances, you will also receive a percentage of the funds raised from these projects.

Certainly, you must be aware of how extremely close a working relationship with horses one must have in order to perform tasks with the horses at this high level. The breed of horses we work with is our own. If you want more information about this particular breed, or about the horses or any questions you may have, please feel free to contact us!
