We often use used jars this is the wild black current tea. It is 100% dried leaves from our Wild Black Current plants. Anybody that has empty 500 ml jars, please don't throw them away, we are glad to use them, and happy to recycle them for you. On the label this tea, you see a picture of a wild black current leaf. We try to harvest the leaves when they are this color as much as possible. The reason for this is that the last heriditary medicine man, in this area whose name was Henry Paul told me that when the leaves reach this color that they would make the best tea. This plant - the wild black current - was referred to by the Indigenous people in this area as the medicine plant. A dear friend of mine in Japan had the tea analyzed and the results showed this tea is very high in anti-oxidants. So much so, that the University in Osaka Japan, retested it several times to confirm their findings. There are lots of things and plants that the native north americans used prior to western medicine being introduced to north america that may be very valuable if we only would take the time to listen and find out.
