In this photograph, because we farm organically with no herbicides or pesticides, the weeds would rule if we did not keep them in check. In this photograph you can see how close we can come to the plants with the ride-on rototiller. This minimizes the amount of hand weeding necessary. But this does not eliminate hand weeding.
