This is a picture in the foreground you see an area with an arrow indicating where are dam is, that allows us to hold back when it's full 9 million gallons of water. This year due to severe drought it is only holding back at the end of the season approximately 5 million gallons of water. These are the wild black currents. They are planted two meters apart. The horses are allowed to come in, they eat the weeds and the grass around the black currents. This year we only cut the grass one time with lawnmowers. The horses did the rest.
