This is a picture of the leaves being harvested in the fall by Betty. The leaves require picking up to 4 different times in the fall as they ripen at different times. If you look in the background on this picture you will see how the natural forested area on the Ranch is left very much in the condition it was when our Great Grandparents first came here in 1887. This gives us an enormous sense of pride to be able to have maintained this beautiful creation over 5 generations.
